    The fighting is real, but the winner is fixed. All the fighters have contracts with UFC, hence the wrestling comparisons. Since UFC owns each fighter they can pretty much decide who will win. This ensures bigger pay-per-view sales, as you will generally get the bigger stars on pay per view. Yes the hitting and blood is real, but the winner will be whoever Dana White decides!

    WWE is scripted and fake if you look you can see the wrestlers talking during the match telling each other what move is going to happen next so they know how to take the "bump". A "bump" is a varation of ways they fall so it dosn't hurt the wrestler. There are back bumps where the wrestler lands flat on his back and front bumps were it appers the wrestleer is landing on his face but he actually puts his arm to his forehead so he dosn't hit his face. In wrestling you will see the wrestlers stomping or slapping there leg everytime they punch or kick. The reason for this is to make a loud sound so it appears the other opponent has been hit. When a wrestler punches he hits with an open fist and pulls his punch before he actually makes contact with the other wrestler. On a kick he will do the same and not make contact. Also when a wrestler goes for a move like a bodyslam or a suplex the other wrestler jumps they dont actually lift them. For instance a suplex, a common wrestling move the wrestler about to get suplexed will front flip as the other wrestler falls backwards its all about the timeing. I know all this because i used to wrestle. If you know what to look for you will see all this happen in a wrestling match but you dont see this in a UFC bout. Wrestling is all about entertainment but the reason Ufc is more popular is beccause its real and people dont want to watch fake stuff.

    It is not fake...BUT some fights are fixed!I have seen guys take minor punches and go down....the same guys that can stand and exchange punches all of a suddent going down to Jabs not even on the jawline???? So no it is not fake but some fights are obviously fixed due to gambling and Danna white trying to hype up views ect. Come on people stop being so naive

    No it's real, unfortunately it is starting to take on the feel of WWE though. I have been in jujitsu for a while now and used to enjoy watching UFC and Ultimate Fighter. It seems that you don't find as much skill as before. By skills I am talking about basic skills (not just jujitsu skills) it appears that the fighters are relying way too much on aggression. To me this commercializes it and makes it appear fake. I know people who fight now and some who have fought in the past and I can assure you it is real.

    if it is fake they are really good actors. then again it wouldntreally surprise me if it all turned out to be fake.

    on other thing i have to say to all those people who say jet lior jackie chan or watever wasnt a good martial artist he was just an actor well the exact same thing could be said about the UFC hes just a TV fighter so there is no real proof that its real.

    WWE is fake but UFC isn't. You can tell that UFC isn't fake because there is some blood involved and the fighters get knocked unconscious and WWE is fake because just close there eyes and act like they got destroyed. I have been to the UFC And WWE and i talked to one of the trainers of a guy named Matt Hughes or something like that and they said that UFC isn't fake.

    It's definitely real...you can tell because the pace of some of the fights....and some of the sloppyness of some of the fights...ive seen a mans arm snap when he was in a submission hold, because he didnt want to tap...that aint no WWE shizzle fo rizzle.....if i had a single inkling it was fake i wouldnt watch the stuff....

    UFC is not "fake" persay, the same way boxing isn't fake. However, there are rules and surroundings that prevent the fighters from needing to know more advance techniques than basic strikes and grappling moves. Most of the more advanced techniques will etiher be few and far between, or they will be jujitsu moves. Just FYI.
