I got a job offer, I want to join it while still not giving up my current job (for extra income). What can I do aboutthe relieving letter? Usually relieving letter is given not immediately upon termination but along with the final settlement a month later. At the companies I worked in the past, they had just asked for the last 3 months payslips (which is no problem with me even now) but forgotten to ask for the relieving letter later on. Can I expect the same will happen here, but if they suddenly ask, can I fake a xerox copy and give it?
