At 12 years of age I began my ballet dancing but gave it up at 17. Though I was really good at Ballet dancing, but I had to give it up as I never enjoyed ballet dancing. In college I am student of modern dance. Best thing about my school dancing syllabus is that we are trained in modern dancing along with classes in ballet technique. Now, to my utter surprise, I have developed sheer love for ballet dancing. Currently I am facing allot of trouble doing my turns. In childhood, I could give a 180 degree turn-out, but at this stage my turn out is limited to 120 degrees. Can you help me know; is this turn out rate satisfactory for a male ballet dancer? Please help me know, of ways to improve my turnout. Can a 20 year old male dancer start his professional career in ballet dancing?
