Tomtom 910 will not turn on

I was programming a route on my Tomtom 910 gps for about 3 minutes and turned it off for maybe 5 minutes and when I tried to turn it back on it would not respond. I was using the 910 without any wiring connection and the battery showed full charge before I turned it off. I then docked the 910 into my car and tried to turn it on... and nothing. The green charging light is lit. I tried resetting with a paper clip to no avail.
