The perfect score from Penfield High School Senior- Eric Wiegandt from Penfield High School senior is one of three in the state to get a perfect score on his ACT's. Perfection comes in phases but not for Eric who is not so perfect in areas such as frecnh but excels at standardized tests.

Penfield High School, is located in a residential suburb of Rochester, NY and offers a comprehensive curriculum for students in grades 9-12. According to Penfield a highly skilled staff works to create a warm and welcoming environment for all students but did staff had a hand in Eric’s perfect score or is he a genious waiting to be discovered?

Eric Wiegandt is very proud of his perfect score of 36 and he is one of three perfect guys out of 506,000 students US wide who took the ACT test in October.

"I do pretty well on tests; it's just a thing I've always done well at - multiple choice especially. I can figure out which ones aren't right just by looking at it. It's not like secret super powers but there are ways to tell they're trying to fool me with this answer." Says Eric.

He was too busy playing and had no time for the prep courses; a practice test and lucky shirt did the trick.

Weigandt is applying to eleven colleges, two of those being Harvard and Yale but he has long way to go before he gets in Harvard, In 2008 27,462 of the most highly qualified high school seniors in the world applied to Harvard University. Of these students, 2,500 of them scored a perfect 800 on the SAT critical reading test and 3,300 were ranked first in their high school class.

The perfect score for sure is going to help Eric but it won’t be an automatic entry to Harvard. Eric better write a long letter similar to the one written by Joe Flom to let Harvard know he is the best thing since the slice bread.
