The Ghost Boat

When I was in 3rd grade in 1975-76 my teacher read a book to the class called The Ghost Boat. I think that the author might have been from the Springfield, Illinois area. Is anyone familiar?

    The Ghost Boat was written in 1969 by Jacqueline Jackson, who was from Springfield. She also has written for "The Illinois Times". The book is still available, and is listed under ISBN: 0316454796 / 0-316-45479-6, and is published by Little, Brown . . . hope this helps!
