Need info on Tires Volvo S40

Hi

I am Aliana from Greece and I would like to ask you something about my Volvos tires.The dimensions I have are 185/65/15. Is it worth trying the 195/60/15? (Michelin energy or pilot)

I have been told that my car will have better driving status. Is it true? Or this change will affect (negative) the cars behavior? I am much curious to know about the possible outcome of this anonymous change.The car is 1.6l model 2003 no trip control. I am not a racer guy. I have three kids and safety is above all.

Thanks for telling me and I feel privileged to provide you some info about this topic. I hope this will help you in assessing and solving your issue.

This is an acceptable alternative provided your local laws will allow it. However, I do not find any Volvos that came with 185/65R15, maybe there are some options in the open market. I do find some with 195/60R15S and you will find that the difference in performance between different brands of tires is greater than the difference in the size by itself.
