Switzerland will take a step closer to World Cup qualification with a win in Latvia on Wednesday. Can they do it?

    This has been Switzerland's best campaign for some time and, while a win over improving Latvia isn't guaranteed, the three points would put them on the brink of qualification should Greece lose in Moldova. The Swiss have improved from their disappointing showing at Euro 2008, with FC Twente forward Blaise N'Kufo hitting five goals in qualifying, and if he and Alexander Frei are on form then it could be a difficult night for the Latvians.
