Ok, here is the problem

Mass of Fe metal:100mg

Volume of water in Calorimeter:150 ml

Mass of water in Calorimeter (use 1g per ml): 150g

Initial Temperature of metal:20 C

Initial Temperature of water:20 C

Final Temperature (both metal and water):100 C

This is where I need help, I don't get how to find this stuff out, I have looked everywhere but I don't get how to do it. HELP!!!

Determine the heat gained by the water (show your work):

Q water =

Q Fe =

Determine the specific heat of the metal (show your work):

C Fe =

Determine the atomic weight of your metal:

Please give me good answers not dumb ones

How did the temperature of the water (starting at 20 C) and the temperature of the Fe (starting at 20 C) both get to the final temperature of 100 C?. I believe you have mis-stated the problem.
