Hi there, Hope you can help me. I am trying to find out when and where Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs premiered in London (1943 I think. Also which dwarf wore a green hat and yellow coat (I think it’s bashful) as they have changed over the years. I have tried the Disney sites, Wikipedia etc and have not got anywhere. I think there is some difficulty in obtaining this info because of the imminent war. Do you have any information about this? Can someone tell me about all this? I would be really great full. Thank you.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a 1937 American animated film based on Snow White, a German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. It was the first full-length cel-animated feature within movement film history, as well as the first ever animated feature film produced within America, the former caused within full color, the former towards be caused by Walt Disney, and the former within the Walt Disney Animated Classics canon.
The movie was premiered at the Carthay Circle Theatre on December 21, 1937, and the picture was released to theaters nationwide by RKO Radio Pictures on February 4, 1938. The story was accustomed by storyboard artists Dorothy Ann Blank, Richard Creed on, Merrill, Otto Englander, Earl Hurd, d**k Rickard, Ted Sears and Webb Smith. David Hand was the managing director, whilst William Cottrell, Wilfred Jackson, Larry Morey, Perce Pearce, and Ben Sharpsteen directed the film's specified sequences.
Plot of the movie goes like: Through a textual prologue told by engaging a stop-motion storybook, the audience is conveyed that Snow White is a princess vibrant with her stepmother, a vain and wicked witch known simply as "the Queen" any person who is assumed to have extracted through the kingdom later the death of Snow White's father. Fearing Snow White's beauty surpassing herhave, the Queen compelled her to task as a scullery maid and would daily ask her Magic Mirror "who is the fairest one of all". For many years the mirror would regularly counter that the Queen was, agreeable her.
