Hello,
I have just puchased a new Meade ETX 90, and everything is working perfectly fine, except the smarfinder's vertical axis won't align. There are two adjustment screws, one to move the red light dot horizontally, and the other to move it vertically. The s***w to move it horizontally is working perfectly fine, but i can't move the red dot up or down no matter what I do. I have de-assembled my smartfinder unit and tried to make sure both spring were in the right place, and they seemed to be. No matter what I do, I can't get the dot to move virtically up or down. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, Step 1:Aim the telescope at a land object that is well defined, such as a telephone pole. Center the object you find in the SP 26mm eyepiece's field of view. Tighten the horizontal and vertical locks. Step 2:Look through the SmartFinder and turn the top or side alignment screws. Turn these screws until the SmartFinder's red dot points at the same position you see through the eyepiece
