   There total of fifty nine delegates, out of which thirty nine of them attended the Constitutional Convention which signed the United States Constitutional convention. This event took place on September 17, 1787 and the location was Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As the state of Pennsylvania failed to send the representative. So in addition to 39 delegates, the convention’s secretary William Jackson signed the document. He did not go as a delegate but for the attestation of the documents.
   Many notable politicians were not in the convention, Some of them were Thomas Jefferson and John Adams although they were overseas diplomats. The youngest signer was Jonathan Dayton and his age was 26 while the oldest was Benjamin Franklin, at that time he was at the age of 81.

John Rutledge, Charles Cotesworth Pinckney, Charles Pinkney and Pierce Butler from South Carlina,William Few and Abraham Baldwin from Georgia, John Langdon, Nicholas Gilman from New Hampshire , Nathaniel Gorham and Rufus King for Massachusetts. William Samuel Johnson and Roger Sherman from Connecticut. Alexander Hamilton from New York, William Livingston, David Breakley, William Paterson, Jonathan Dayton from New Jersey, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Mifflin, Robert Morris, George Clymer, Thomas FitzSimons, Jared Ingersoll, James Wilson and Gouverneur Morris from Pennsylvania.
