My younger brother wants to know about the compound in Linguistics. He starts his linguistic course and facing the problem. Anyone have idea about compounds in Linguistics. Please! Can someone tell me about it?

    Compound is called lexeme in Linguistics. It is consist of more than one stem. For example, “butterfly” consists of Butter and Fly. Compounding or composition is the word formation that adds ahead connects concurrently lexemes. Compounding cites to the department and creation of terminology to configuration new comments by aggregating or putting concurrently elderly words. In other comments, compound, compounding or word-compounding takes place when a lexeme attaches two or more comments concurrently to make them one word. The meanings of the comments interrelate in such a way that a new significance sketches close out which is very divergent from the meanings of the comments in isolation.
    In synthetic Language, the connection between the components of a compound may be assessed with a case or other morpheme. The German compound consists on lexemes. In semantic classification, compounds are divided in 4 common types, endocentric, copulative, appositional and exocentric. In formal classification, compounds are divided in Non-noun compounds, verb-verb compounds, and verb-noun compounds
