When I was 16 (almost 17) I dated a guy for a year named Dan who was 2 years older than me and . He was great, but we decided to just be friends in the end because we were both moving away and we had grown apart. He loves camping, drinking (haha...), and he's a ski coach. Our thing was we lost our friendship in the relationship. After we broke up he get really drunk and made out with one of my friends (not really close friends, but I'm from a small town so everyone knows everyone). Anyways, of course I got kind of mad! And we didn't talk for a year after.
Okay so after he made out with my friend I hooked up with one of my close guy friends a couple times (it didn't mean anything)
A couple weeks later I hooked up with my boyfriend I'm with now, he's a year younger than me. We weren't dating for 8 months after that but we weren't hooking up with anyone else. I was travelling all over the country though. So we got together this past summer. I worked 6 days a week at a a summer camp so I saw him only one day a week. After the summer I left to the east coast and he's across the country. So really we have not spent very much time together... we spent a lot of the Christmas holidays together. Something I should mention is this summer for a week I worked with my ex boyfriend. I have to admit, I was tempted but I would NEVER cheat. EVER.
So basically lately I have been wondering what I really want. I feel like every little thing is bothering me about my current boyfriend, and we're across the country. I feel bad because he's a great guy but I'm not sure if he's right for me. I love camping, and he dosn't care for it. I want to live in a small town and be outdoors for the rest of my life and he wants to be in a cool city. He seems so young sometimes. And I feel like I have to big sister him sometimes! I was his forst real relationship and I feel like he wants to be with me for the rest of his life. And he thinks kisses and everything is a big deal that you should only do with one person in your life. I feel like he should be going out and seeing what else is out there other than me almost! And yes I think it's a big deal but not as much as him. And he wants me to move for him. And he CRIES! More than me! And hates the fact I had an ex who I slept with before him.
Ohhkay moving on (if you've made it this far in the story haha). Lately I have been thinking about my ex a lot. He kind of put himself out there for me this summer... so I don't know what to do. Basically I have 3 options:
1. Break up with my boyfriend and chill single
2. Stay with my boyfriend
3. Break up with my boyfriend and test out things with my ex again after a while.
ARGGGHH! This is hard :(
By the way I'm 19 now, almost 20 now and my ex is 22 and my boyfriend is 18.
Oh and my boyfriend now dosn't drink and has a huge problem with it if I do (I live in Canada so yes I am legal)
