First and formost, make sure you draw you a outline of where and how the belt goes around and what pulleys. Loosen the belt tensioner, remove the old one and replace with a new one making sure each pulley is ran exactly right. Tighten up the tensioner. Run the engine a bit and re-tension the belt.
