What are the shops and sights to visit San Francisco?

I'm going to San Francisco tomorrow for four day convention tomorrow and
staying near Moscone Center. Will have free time tomorrow and Thursday
afternoon. Anything particular I must see? Shops? Cable cars, of course.
Thinking of Sausilito. Interested in character, great souvenir shops and places
for cool, not too expensive crafts, jewelry nearby or Sausilito. Fun places to
eat dinner, people watch. Thanks! Pam, Massachusetts.

San Francisco offers some of the best visiting places to attract the visitors.Some of them are Alcatraz Island,Asian Art Museum,California Academy of Sciences,California Historical society,Cartoon Art Museum,China Town,Exploratorium,Lombard Street,Legion of Honor,Natural history Museum etc.The shopping sights in San Francisco are Union Square, Hayes Valley, Haight-Ashbury, upper Fillmore, the Mission, Sacramento Street, Chinatown and downtown's San Francisco Shopping Center .
