Hi
I have a Home theater setup with Klipsch Synergy speakers(SF-1 front, KSW 10 Sub, SC 5, SS 5 surrounds) and a Yamaha RXV 1200 receiver. Unfortunately after a recent move I cannot find my rear surround speakers. As a result I need to replace/upgrade.
I am trying to decide between buying better surrounds(Like the Klipsch reference series) and repurposing my existing front speakers as surrounds and purchasing better front speakers. Will floor standing front speakers work well as rear surrounds when placed right next to a couch?
The room size is approx 16x13'.
Please help me figure this out.
