I have a 42" dynex plasma tv, its one year old. My son was playing with the dog and cup flew up off of the table and put a small crack in the screen, which from there developed a black horizontal line through the middle of the tv. A few months have passed and now the crack runs from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen. Now when we turn on the tv, the screen is black but we can hear sound. Is this fixable? Or should I throw it away? I have the four year warranty on it, but it doesnt cover physical damage.
I really would like to fix it, I dont want to part with it. But if it cant be fixed?
I heard they no longer make the parts for it? Is this true?
