I removed a laminate backsplash to discover a thick, waxy brown adhesive that is seemingly impossible to remove. I just installed a granite counter w/ no backsplash, and am hoping to restore the wall where the backsplash was to a smooth, simply painted wall. Any tips on how to remove the glue and repair the all behind it?
