   HI, I'm really sorry you have not had success with your Band. I am going to assume that you've gone as far as you can (gotten as much benefit as you can) from your original surgeon. I should emphasize that before you give up completely you should be sure your original surgeon has a chance to help you as much as he/she can. I want to reassure you that some people don't do well with a Band, but do find success with a gastric bypass or a gastric sleeve. I understand you are a bit put off by the magnitude of the gastric bypass, but I recommend at this point for you to seek out a surgeon in your area who does gastric bypass surgery and Band surgery so you can get a fresh start.
