RC nikko porsche 959

Hi,
problem is on a RC Nikko Porsche with digital proportional controler with interchangable chips for frequency. The problem is when I turn on the transmitter, the car turns left and does not respond to any command. My battery seems to be good on both the transmitter and the receiver (car)
can you help me?
