RBS bank and NatWest bank are fined 2.8m pounds by FSA.
Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) one of the biggest bank in the UK and its NatWest subsidiary also a large bank have been fined £2.8m for failing to deal properly with customers' routine complaints. This is a step in the right direction. i hate banks who make a living from our money but don't act or do anything when a customer has an issue.
Hats off to The Financial Services Authority (FSA) for fining these banks, FSA said there was an "unacceptably high risk" that the customers had been treated unfairly.
Do you think other banks will smarten up or 2.8 million is a pock change and customers will still be treated unfairly.
