The famous groundhog Punxsutawney Phil usually foresees six more weeks of winter, but the Punxsutawney Phil 2011 prediction is for early spring. I want to know if we should trust him or not? I am confused about this tradition as well. Seriously I want to know why people trust on the predictions of a groundhog

I think we are living in 21st century and there is no need to be superstitious. Really I cannot understand why people are just following the path of a groundhog. And I am really surprised to hear that if groundhog predicts, than winter can be long than the last one. Is it possible that a groundhog is able enough to count on weather or make a prediction? I hope so not. But still people are following the so called traditions which are a wrong practice.

I cannot understand the way people behave and follow such nonsense myths and so called traditions. Before folwoing such nonsense believes, we must think about our educational and social backgrounds. But still there are a lot of people who are following the same path. I do not know why? But they are.

I hope you can understand that there is no reason behind these traditions. If you understand it than I am happy for you, but if you are still confused than there is no need to explain further. Believe me, there is no realty in such believes.
