You can give him/her a toy or allot some of your precious time playing with your dog, at least twice a day is good.

Well I suppose this is occurrence because you’ve taken a load animal and put it in solitude; it’s the outcome of instinct. The dog is likely experiencing parting anxiety.
I'm not certain canines are actually reasonable sufficient to sense that there's not anything intriguing going on, so they don't require being there with you. Obviously he realizes that occasionally you depart and he's glade with that, but he doesn't realize that occasionally you don't desire to be with him when you are there. Dogs are untainted strong feeling, and they don't conceal their strong sentiments in anyhow, so while you're not letting him into a room, he feels miserable and left out, and he's going to articulate that.
I believe you have to manage some work on two fronts. Most significantly, I believe obedience school and other teaching will be helpful to construct up the dog's general self-assurance level. A assured dog won't are inclined to be as needy of the other ones in his life as a less-confident or shocked dog would.
Secondly there are exact things you can manage to decrease the parting disquiet itself. Basically this engages managing some teaching to strengthen the dog's comprehending that you will be approaching back and that he has not been abandoned. As well, you can gradually train him to not whine by affirmative reinforcement, gradually but certainly, when you depart the room and he doesn't whine. "Leaving" will signify seconds or meager minutes at the start, but finally you can bump up the absences.
