The precision bass was made in 1950 and it came into market 1951. Since then it has been a popular instrument and plays a key role in most music. Bass is heavy sound which is linked with the music especially music like Techno , Trance and Dance. On the other hand precision bass of bass guitars are used by most rock and metal bands. They are used to make give a heavy, smooth and deep touch to the song. Normal guitar consists of six to eight strings, while bass guitars have four string to provide unique tonality according to the combinations available. They are available in different series and their shape has also changed with the time. Design updates have also resulted in producing better results. Now there are electric guitars which are mostly used to provide loud and clear sound, and they also provide distortion effect as which most bands prefer nowadays. If your guitar paint is peeling off I don’t think it would be a good option to sell it off. If its strings are fine you can keep on using it. There are some paint colors available for wood and plastic stuff as well, you can paint your guitar with those. Also in order to make if scratch proof keep it in its cover. The price of such guitars will vary, it depends upon its condition, its usage and its type. Electric one have their own specifications, you can go to a guitar store near you , some of them do buy or purchase or replace the old guitars with the new ones.
