If your window rolls down with the bad door window switch, then it means that the motor is just fine, you simply need to take the drivers door switch apart and see if the wire is loose or making a bad connection, if everything seems perfect, you might have to replace the complete door switch.

Common problem. First turn the car on for accessories. Then push the drivers window button and hold, then lift up n hold. This should reset the system. Talk to your dealer. There is a service bulletin for this very problem

I'm having the same or similar problem: (2006 Avalon)passenger window will not go down from driver control. Passenger control works. How do you access the switch? Are there any fuses related to this?

check to see if you pressed the child safety button on the master switch or on the passenger. It happens a lot. Your car is to new to have that problem unless you had a lot of stereo work done on your car.

If neither switch, (passenger switch or driver's switch) will not roll down the window, it is a problem with the window motor or relay for that window. If the window has a one touch down feature, that is probably the culprit. Since the car is newer, try pushing down on the glass while pushing the button. The widow might just stuck in the rubber.

bad switch or could be a fuse problem or bad connection

does the window roll down with the bad door window switch?, if it does the motor is good and you need to take the drivers door switch apart and see if the wire is loose or making a bad connection, if everything looks good you might have to replace the complete door switch.

The vehicle is still under manufacturer's warranty. Check your owner's manual for warranty info.
