There has been little fire in the first two One-Day International’s between England and Australia, but Ricky Ponting’s return from his post-Ashes break might be the spark needed to bring the series alive.

    Ponting will be keen to get some wins on the board against England after Australia's Ashes loss, and his return will renew the battle of captains against Andrew Strauss. Unless England close the gap on Australia's 2-0 lead though, there may be little anyone can do to inject some spark into the ODI series.
