Chances are the flame sensor (often called the oven cavity thermostat or TCO / thermal cutout) has blown. Its job is to open like a fuse when the temperature inside the oven gets too high or if there is a fire. You can reply back with your model number for more specific help, or see the links below: You can find links to helpful exploded view diagrams and part ordering help here: http://www.microwavedisplay.com/parts.htm I'd recommend that your bookmark this link to your favorites. Accessing some parts (especially the cavity thermostat / TCO) will require you to pull the oven from the wall and remove the cover. If so, the installation instructions are very handy, and it's best to have two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward. You can download GE owner's manuals and installation instructions here: http://www.geappliances.com/service_and_support/literature/ You can download owner's manuals and installation instructions for several brands (including Amana, Jenn-Air, Kitchenaid, Litton, Maytag, Roper, Tappan, Thermador and Whirlpool) here: http://www.whirlpool.com/custserv/index.jsp You can download owner's manuals and installation instructions for Electrolux and Frigidaire here: http://www.frigidaire.com/customersupport
