    But is this only true for Pakistani Nation? Why ONLY we suffer from Martial Laws? There are other nations enjoying democracy and basic human rights which got independence along with us...!

    some places in the world are not meant for democracy and can only attain peace when the leader is strong enough to control the country for the long run. pakistan history shows; it has done more in the martial law situations than with a civilian led governments. These political unrests leave no other choice but for army to intervene and stabilize the nation.
