I have my question regarding purchasing of something online. If I want to buy something from the eBay and I am about a pound short. Then if I buy it anyway using my PayPal account, it will just take the money out of my bank. My question is that the Bank charges no fee for cash withdraw, then why the amount is often over drawn when the PayPal account is uses? Should people use the PayPal account?

Basically, the PayPal is an e-commerce business allowing payments and money transfers to be made through the Internet. Online money transfers serve as electronic alternatives to traditional paper methods such as checks and money orders. Besides, a PayPal account can be funded with an electronic debit from a bank account or by a credit card. The recipient of a PayPal transfer can request a check from PayPal, establish their own PayPal deposit account or request a transfer to their bank account. PayPal performs payment processing for online vendors, auction sites, and other commercial users. For which it charges a fee and may also charge a fee for receiving money, depending upon the amount received. Apart from the amount, the fee also depends on some other factors like the currency used, the payment option used, the country of the sender, the country of the recipient, the amount sent and the account type recipient has. Now as far as the eBay purchases are concerned, the payment made by credit card through PayPal may invite extra fees if the buyer and seller are using different currencies.

Yup. Any shortages in your PayPal account are made up from your bank account.

Oh...I like to keep a few bucks in there so it all doesn't come out of my bank account.
