Do you know of any book or web site that deals with filming locations of the Little Rascals (Our Gang) movies? Since so many of their scenes were filmed on location in and around Hollywood, there must be something available somewhere that deals with this subject. Can you help me? Do you know of any web site or book that documents the filming locations of the Little Rascals (Our Gang) movies of so long ago?

Our Gang is a short silent film which was released in the year 1922. It was the third of Hal Roach’s shorts which was to be released and it was the first to enter the production. Charles Parrot was known as Charley Chase and who was a supervising director on the movie Our Gang. The original version of this short movie was shot in January 1922 and was directed by Fred Newmeyer. The reshoot of the movie took place in Robert F. McGowan and Tom McNamara. As a matter of fact, I have a website called theluckycorner.com that gives various information on all of the Our Gang films, including some of the locations. This doesn't apply to all of the films, since my info on locations is somewhat limited, and also because they gradually drifted away from location work in the later years, favoring the studio back lots instead. But just as an example, if you click on the link for \"Pups Is Pups,\" you'll find the location of the church where Wheezer was reunited with his puppies. Also, if you click on \"Boxing Gloves,\" you'll learn that Joe and Chubby collide at the corner of Motor and Woodbine, an intersection that shows up numerous times during the silent era. Motor Avenue is also the street that the junior firefighters are traveling on in \"Hook And Ladder.\"
