Melanie Oudin, has now added US Open 13th seed Nadia Petrova to her fast growing list of victims. Petrova joins 2006 US Open champion Maria Sharapova and 4th seed Elena Dementieva as the seeded players ousted from the tournament by the teenager. If the 17-year-old can beat 9th seed Caroline Wozniacki in their quarterfinal match, she is guaranteed an unseeded opponent in the semi-final. Suddenly, a US Open final appearance doesn't seem too far away.
