Olympia Typewriter report electronic troubleshoot.

The typewriter has not been used for some years.
Now the keys are not responsive. But if I repeat them many times (and press hard and jiggle them), they are starting to work. Maybe contacts are dirty? How to fix?

    Remove and take apart the keyboard then clean carefully the membrane and the circuit board touch pads. i have spilled soda pop onto the keyboard and the liquid gets in between the membrane and the top of the circuit board fastened to the under side of the keyboard.

    The only way to get the keyboard working again is the above mentioned procedure.
