    Hi, To change the EGR valve you do not need to take off the intake manifold , just lose the intake hose %26 the air filter box and take off 3 small hoses stick on the intake system %26 the whole intake system will come off, trust me i work on this car a lot , when it off you can see the EGR valve clearly , good luck
