New motorcycle gloves buying advice

I am in the market to purchase new Motorcycle gloves, but can't decide between Fieldsheer Apex and Fieldsheer Polar gloves. Both gloves look pretty awesome and available for similar price at http://www.dealrocker.com/promotions/bikebandit/deals/. Just wondering which one provides best protection and grip? Want to know your advice and views before any purchase.
