   It has been seen over the years that New Zealand despite being a rather less threatening side, always go on to do well to reach the semi-finals. But on reaching the semis, they fail so as to keep up the good work resulting in their defeat. Other reason has also been that its been years that they have not produced a real icon in Cricket after the departure of Martin Crowe who was the captain in the world cup 1992.
