Your Singaporean citizenship will remain inact until you yourself abandon it and same will be the case for your husband. Secondly, if you plan to settle in Canada, you will have to stay there for about 2 years I think and then you can apply for PR or citizenship.I am not sure but I feel you will need to abandon your previous nationality if you want to become Canadian. You can get exact guideline from Canadian embassy in this regard!

if you move to his home nation you are his property. you in that nation would loose your citizenship and passport. you have no rights as a woman in that nation. for immg to canada go to cic.gc.ca the official immig site for the govt of Canada canada.gc.ca for the govt of canada site. ask your own govt what happen to your citizenship. btw in pakistan and the UEA you could be beaten to death and no one would ever be punished. i would never live there. singapore is a farmore open and civil society. stay put.

A persons citizenship, just like in your case will not change unless you take steps in renouncing your own citizenship. If you plan to live in Canada, then after 3 years of continuous residency, you may opt to become Canadian, and thus have dual citizenship. That goes for your husband too. **

Wow .. I have no idea, but if you have your babies in Canada they will be Canadian.

You will retain your original citizenship, regardless of your husband's nationality or where you relocate, unless you actively seek to renounce it. If you are interested in acquiring a second citizenship, or third, etc., you will have to check with the respective countries involved (for example, UAE law does not actually recognize dual nationality). Your children, if any, will also have a wide variety of citizenship options (for example, a child born of a UAE father is automatically considered by UAE to be a UAE citizen).

NOTE: THE UAE is one of the most progressive countries in the Middle East. Women do drive, and head covering is not a religious mandate for non-muslims.
