Question:

Name the only European Capital city that is not situated on river?

A friend of mine was telling me that in Europe only one country has got the Capital city away from river. The rest Europe the Capital city is always along side of river. London,Paris, Berlin etc are all situated so finding it altogether difficult to locate this city.
Need help its really urgent.

     Stockholm the capital of Sweden is the only capital that is not located no a river. I read about Madrid that it is the capital of Europe that is not located on a river but it is clearly written in wikipedia that it is located on the Manzanares river. So, the more authentic one is the Stockholm that has several lakes near around but no river.
