Does NATO actually wants to protect civilians and civilian populated areas under threat of attack from the Qaddafi regime ?

    Apparently it does seem that NATO is there to protect the civilians populated area from the attack of the Libyan pro-Gaddafi forces. But somehow the NATO has not proved to be getting involved in any matter without a benefit of the nations featuring NATO. It would take sometime for the actual truth to get unveiled.
