I had a working conntection with my bluetooth headset and phone. I had to reset my phone by entering the reset key sequence *#...# due to some installed files.
After the reset, when I try to use headset, I get prompt for passcode - entered 0000, however the pairing doesn't happen and fails. 0000 is the default passcode as per Jabra manuals and it worked earlier.
I tried all ways of resetting the headset, even opened the headset and removed battery and re-soldered.
Somehow, phone seems to remember the pairing (doesn't show up in paired devices list). I just need to turn the headset "on" and I get passcode prompt on phone, but 0000 doesn't pair. I tried with another headset from my friend and it works fine.
I had backup of entire phone taken via PC suite before I did the reset and tried restoring - but still the same issue and doesn't work.
Please help.
