The sto function on my ti-85 calculator does not seem to be working. For example I used to be able to type in some text press sto A and the text would be stored in the A. When i wanted to recall the text i just pressed second function A and the text would be recalled. Secondly when I try to enter a program like the quadratic formula i type in the program and in one of the lines you have to enter sto D. Everything appears to be ok, I recall the program start to fill in the variables that I am prompted for and then it shows an error. I press goto and it highlights the arrow that represent the sto button. Please advise, and guidance would be appreciated. thank you
