You are using the applications that requires 2GB+ Ram
    1. I would suggest you to upgrade your system and install the 4GB ram, if you use your system for gaming then upgrade your VGA card to 512MB.
After the upgradation i am sure you will get rid of these problems.
    2. If your system is well upgraded then i would advise you to reinstall the operating system of you computer, because system files infected with malware or viruses cause the issues with Ram usage.
    3. Reinstall the operating system after that do not open any drive exept the C drive, Use the CD rom to install the antivirus software.
Restart your system and upgrade the antivirus program. Scan your drives and delete the infected files.
    4. If you think these wont resolve the problem then reassemble your system. Open every port attached and hardware, clean the dust in your system and reinstall the things.

the solution here is to uninstall nvidia graphic driver and buy an external graphic card and install this if you are running on the on board one this has problems with resources and memory shareing.

Make sure you have got 128mb or above on board and directory x10 plus pixel shrader for video playback an do a virus scan as well plus a spyware sweep.

and if you are running xp this also can cause problems upgrade to vista premium for dual core boards as this dual core systemboards are more designed for vista then xp.

    good luck on this one
