My steam keeps "Scanning for game updates" and I can't get it to stop. I turned off my Nod32 but it's not helping. What can I do ?

    i have the same problem it keeps saying scanning for game updates where do i find the .blob thing ?

    try deleting the .blob files in steam folder that helped me
