My son and daughter in law have are not legally separated, not divorced but are just not living together. Last week my daughter in law had her car repossessed for nonpayment. She demanded to have the second car, and even got law enforcement involved. The local Sheriff said they could not take my son’s car away. This made my Daughter in law furious . Now she refuses for my son to see his son. We went to a lawyer but they want $5,000.00 to start and more if it goes to Court. We don’t have that money. Please, anything you can do to help would be appreciated . . . Not seeing his son is breaking my son’s heart. Please help!

I think the only solution to this problem would be a legal one whereby you need to take your daughter in law to court. Get a legal separation agreement drawn up that allows your son visitation. A court will never allow her to keep his son from him. It is expensive, but this is the only solution, anyway! Your son will be able to pick up and take his child legally anytime he wants. In other words, just like she tried to get the cops to get the car, she can't get the cops to get her son.
