We are able to watch with lid barely open and spinning very slowly, alternate between regular, perma press choice and seems a litte faster on perma press but NOT the 710 rpm reported. You can wring water out. Just got it today. We have called contracted service (under warranty) but they will be out next week! 3/16. Service said might be a loose belt or some springs Husband very mechanical but not familiar with this unit
