My LG Rumor Touch's touchscreen suddenly quit working,

all the buttons and the display is fine, but touching the screen now does nothing. I can navigate by using the buttons on the phone, but that is it. Everything was working perfectly when suddenly it just stopped

I just tried the heating up with the hair dryer and using a suction cup and by golly that dumb touchscreen started working again. What a piece of c**p! As soon as this contract is up, we are switching carriers and phones!

I've been chasing answers to this LG touchscreen problem for hours. I decided to take matter into my own hands. I took a hair dryer and heated the p**s outta the d**n thing, then took a small suction cup and stuck it on the screen, then pulled it off a few times. IT WORKS NOW!!!! Same thing happened with my phone. I even tried taking the battery out for a while but that dod nothing. Has anyone figured it out? Did you have to get a new phone? Thank you

This sounds a bit crude but when that happens to me I usually open and close the phone a few times then tap the screen a little bit harder than usual. Some times i have the problem that you are explaining and other times the calibration is horrid and calibrating it does absolutely nothing and then some of the time it works perfectly. I see it as a game that LG is trying to play with me and take it as a challenge!

I have the Lg Rumor Touch also and I have had it seince xmas, it has been working fine and everything but today about a hour ago I was on the youtube app then the touch screen just stoped working and it will work alittle but it will barley work............ just like yours, all my buttons and the display works perfecly but when I touch the screen to unlock it or check a message, the screen will not respond to my touch........... Do you know what is wrong with it yet. If so please tell me.
