My LCD monitor is going into power saving mode. I have had this flat screen monitor about 3 months

I have had this flat screen monitor about 3 months and it has worked fine. this am when I turned on the computer the LG monitor went into "safe mode". It worked fine last night when I turned it off. what to do?
