My 1988 corvette sometimes wont start

The battery is great and jump starts doe'nt work eaither it does nothing no sounds at all

    Hi, There is a short somewhere between you ignition switch and your starter. I would first check your fusible link to make sure it is good and then check backwards to the ignition switch with a continuity meter......that will show where the short is, but only when it is hot..... hope this helps....
