My friend in Libya said that there are news that Muammar Gaddafi is shot dead at his computed before air strike, please confirm this news.

     No muammar gaddafi is still alive, according to reports the compound was targeted because it contained capabilities to exercise command and control over Libyan forces. but 
    Pentagon also said, "We are not targeting his residence."

    I do not think that Muammar Gaddafi, Leader and Guide of the Revolution of Libya, died in his compound when the cruise missiles heavily damaged four-story building of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi's Tripoli including his compound. There are no news authenticating these rumors.
    Though a coalition military official confirmed that Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi’s compound was targeted by airstrikes due to command and control capabilities located inside. The main aim of this attack is to destroy Gadhafi's military capabilities
