My son used the phrase laugh, monkey boys? the other day. I have heard laugh it up, monkey boys? and laugh while you can, monkey boys? I thought the phrase came from an old movie. Do you remember which one?

I think you are talking about the movie “The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai”. It is also named as Buckaroo Banzai, it is an American spoof science fiction film which was released in the year 1984. The movie is directed and produced by W.D Richter and it involves the efforts of Dr Buckaroo Banzai who was casted as Peter Weller, a physicist, a neurosurgeon and a rock musician. The movie is a mixture of action/adventure and science-fiction movie genres. It also includes elements like comedy, satire and romance. In its first release Banzai prepared a test run for his jet car, it was a heavily modified Ford E 100 series which was powered by a jet engine, and is capable of exceeding the speed of Mach 1. The car is equipped with a device named “oscillation overthuster”, the goal of Banzai. The car was designed to match the speed in excess of Mach1. The test of the car was a success and, Banzai really amazed the performers by his jet car. Very soon after driving Banzai found out an alien organism attached to the car. Dr Emilio Lizardo is also known as John Lithgow which had a criminal record and was sent to the Trenton home. He had been held for 50 years.
